SYDNEY BABY! (PART 1)
I can't believe we waited an entire year for this day to come, and it's finally here! Our main agenda for the trip was to attend Hillsong's Colour Conference (which was such an amazing experience!), then we stayed on for the rest of the week to enjoy and explore all that Sydney has to offer. There was a group of 11 girls on this trip. While it did get a little stressful trying to make decisions and go places sometimes, for the most part, we all got along so well.
Here's part 1 of our trip which takes you through the first two days of actual sightseeing and a buttload of eating. To be honest, most of our days were planned around food/restaurants. Ha!
1. Darling Harbour
We celebrated a birthday over lunch at Hurricane's Grill in Darling Harbour. Pretty much everyone else ordered ribs while I had a huge bread roll and broccoli soup. Ha! I'm not a huge meat eater and could never stomach that much meat. We also had a mini photoshoot out by the harbour. We had to - it was the last time all 11 of us were together!
2. N2 Extreme Gelato (Chinatown)
After a massive feed at Hurricane Grill, we decided to check out N2 Extreme Gelato in Chinatown. They have an amazing selection of flavours, they make them fresh by order, and you just can't help but go 'wow' when the liquid nitrogen is added. I highly recommended even if its just to witness the process of gelato-making!
3. Bondi Beach
We picked possibly the worst day to visit Bondi Beach. It was so overcast when we arrived and it started to pour down with rain very soon after. We had just enough time to walk down to Bondi Icebergs and took a few photos of the cutest dog outside a cafe. WWe had brunch at a cute little place called Chapter One based on Google's recommendations. It was the first time I've eaten fresh food throughout the trip and IT WAS GLORIOUS.
Congratulations, you made it to the end. Stay tuned for part 2 coming up next week!
